Aiutiamo Capitano Paul Watson

Questo grande uomo, Capitano Paul Watson, fondatore dell’associazione Sea Shepherd, è detenuto dal governo tedesco per poi estradarlo in Costa Rica ,dove è considerato un terrorista ,perchè combatte contro la caccia alle pinne di squalo..... quest uomo ha combattuto salvando tante creature , ora ha bisogno di un nostro aiuto !!!

                                     

Sea Shepherd, senza tregua e con tanta passione e convinzione, da molti anni si occupa di proteggere l’habitat naturale marino, di proteggerne le specie più a rischio di estinzione e soprattutto combatte le attività di pesca e caccia illegale a diverse specie marine (quali le foche, le balene, gli squali e molti altri pesci) che lontano dagli occhi dei più o spesso mascherate da attività scientifiche vengono perpetrate ai danni di questi animali.
Bene, il Capitano Watson, uomo forte carismatico e visionario che ha trascorso più anni della sua vita in mare che non a terra, ora si trova agli arresti in Germania.
La Germania lo sta detenendo per estradarlo in Costa Rica, dove è ritenuto un nemico perché combatte la pratica illegale della caccia delle pinne di squalo [piccola nota: i bracconieri catturano lo squalo, gli tagliano coda e pinne e poi lo ributtano in mare condannandolo così ad una morte lenta e atroce].
Il Costa Rica non è la sola nazione a voler fermare con ogni mezzo l’operato del Capitano Watson. Il Giappone che da sempre approva la caccia alle balene, squali, delfini e chi più ne ha più ne metta, fa loro compagnia e sicuramente non sono i soli.
Vengo al punto: se il Capitano Watson venisse estradato in Costa Rica, non riceverebbe sicuramente un processo equo e la sua sicurezza non potrebbe essere garantita.
Mi appello al vostro buon cuore, certa di una vostra presa di posizione in massa. Facciamoci sentire, esprimiamo al Governo Tedesco il nostro disappunto nei confronti di questa procedura.
IL CAPITANO WATSON HA FATTO TANTO PER GLI ALTRI. ORA TOCCA A NOI FARE QUALCOSA PER LUI.

Esteemed Madam Minister,

as a member of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and as a concerned citizen of the world, I am shocked and saddened by the news that Germany decided to deport Captain Paul Watson to Costa Rica and I respectfully ask the German Government to reconsider this decision.

The warrant issued by Costa Rica is politically motivated and it does not have the best interest of justice as its foundation. Rather, it serves the interest of shark fin poachers, who are putting the whole planet and its population at great risk by diminishing the biodiversity of the Ocean with their ruthless exploitation of an apex predator. This is what Captain Paul Watson was and is fighting against, and of course the fact that he and the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society are standing up to this multi-million-dollar poaching operation is not well-received by those who profit from it.

I have reason to fear that Captain Paul Watson will be unjustly detained for a disproportionate length of time in Costa Rica, and that he will face an unfair trial imposed on him by biased authorities influenced by the plunderers of the Ocean.

Germany has a great reputation as a country which is immune to corruption and which serves, first and foremost, the interests of justice and fairness, and this makes it a country that the world looks up to. I ask you, Madam Minister, to make it possible for Germany to live up to those great standards once again, and to overturn the decision to deport Captain Paul Watson to Costa Rica. In doing so, you will be acting not only in the name of justice, but also in the best interest both of the Oceans and the whole planet.

I thank you for your time and attention, and I do hope in a positive outcome for this matter.
